Location: end of summer

So we are more than halfway through August now, and I thought I would take a look at the ledger and see how accountable I’ve been for some of the projects I wrote down!

So far there has been no wine club sign up…yet! But I have found a great bottle of white organic wine from Trader Joe’s called “Green Fin,” and it has been complimenting this summer nicely! It’s also only $4! I’ve already repurchased it 3 times! Baller moves, I know. It’s a little on the sweet side, which I don’t usually like, but the crisp finish really rounds out the heavy honey flavor. Pairs great with pretty much anything, but particularly anything involving the Bachelor franchise.

Speaking of! I can check the season finale of The Bachelorette off my list, and ughhhh! Meehhhh! (all the annoying noises) I was really bummed and disappointed Rachel picked Bryan, especially because it felt like he wasn’t her first pick. I got over it quick though when I realized Peter could potentially be the next bachelor. Whether it’s that silver fox or Dean aka Deanie Baby, I’ll be a happy woman. In the time being I’m just soaking up all the drama of Bachelor in Paradise. Do you watch?! It’s soooo not worth your time, but soooo is, do you feel me?!

I took care of eye exams, and physicals, all that is left for us is a trip to the dentist, which I’m not looking forward to doing with Luca. The last time we went, I had to help pin him down for his simple cleaning, and I left sweating profusely due to his strength and me being nearly 8 months pregnant at the time. It wasn’t fun. Any tips? Bribery is already in full force.

I haven’t made it to Disneyland as our passes are still void, but we recently got Legoland passes and I have a post/video in the works of all my takeaway tips for visiting there with little ones!

I hung string lights on our patio, and you can read my post HERE about how to hang string lights on a small patio!

I sent a Brightbox to my friend Taylor in New York for her birthday and she loved it, so I highly recommend checking them out! Also planning a taco night for next week so stay posted for that spicy marg recipe! Have you tried anything from the August ledger?

Happy Sunday friends! I hope your weekend felt long and your Monday feels short!
